Recommendations for diving with sandtiger sharks
(Ragged tooth shark/Grey nurse shark)
With his mouth permanently showing the long pointed teeth of his powerful jaws, the sandtiger shark is impressive! Its size (up to 4.3 m) is also respectable! However, it is a shark that allows divers to approach, and it is a “happiness” to swim together with a group of sandtiger sharks, providing that certain rules are respected.
-Do not enter the caves or under the overhangs which are resting areas for sandtigerl sharks;
-Keep a minimum distance of 3 m, always stay outside when in a group, and never get on their way;
-Do not use a flash, as lightning can cause leakage or aggressiveness.
